The Problem
Our municipal transit customer needed to track and publish the on-time performance of its public transportation system to provide transparency and improve rider satisfaction.
The Solution
The regional transit department utilized an Intelligent Transportation System (ITS) from INIT. Dimensional Strategies Inc. (DSI) modeled actual and scheduled stop-wise data to deliver insights into on-time performance. The data was further enriched with operator, vehicle, road condition, and weather-related attributes, enabling the department to identify areas for improvement and enhance the rider experience.
