The Problem

Our customer provides custom concrete products to the building industry. Their underlying business applications did not speak to one another, so it was very difficult to provide the end customer with an accurate delivery estimate. Customer satisfaction was low and repeat business was being impacted.

The Solution

Dimensional Strategies Inc. (DSI) built an orchestration layer with Microsoft's Power Platform that provided a unified interface to progress an order from quote to delivery, while updating existing legacy applications behind the scenes. Customers were apprised of the order status on a weekly basis and were able to track the final delivery in real time. Internal management was also able to build metrics to understand which operations teams had challenges in ensuring the timely delivery of product.
